Welcome to Meetings, Miles, and Motherhood, a space where I share my journey of balancing remote work, business travel, and being a full-time mom—because even when I’m on the go, motherhood is always my top priority.

Hi, I’m Sherwin.

I live in the vibrant, sometimes exhausting, but always rewarding intersection of a full-time remote career, frequent international travel, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family.

For a long time, I tried to keep these worlds separate—worrying that the “Miles” might make me seem less present for “Motherhood,” or that “Motherhood” might slow down the “Meetings.” But at 40, I’ve realized that these three pillars don’t compete; they coexist to make me who I am.

The Three Pillars of My Life

  • Meetings: I’m a full-time remote professional navigating the modern corporate world. I believe that productivity isn’t about being chained to a desk, but about results, boundaries, and mastering the tools that make “work from anywhere” possible.
  • Miles: My office often has a view of the clouds. I frequently fly across Southeast Asia (SEA) for work, turning transit time into thinking time and exploring the unique challenges and joys of being a frequent flyer in a fast-paced region.
  • Motherhood: This is my “Why.” Everything I do is rooted in showing my children that you can be a devoted parent while also chasing your professional North Star. I’m here for the real talk—the travel guilt, the school runs, and the joy of coming home.

Why I Created This Space

I started this blog because I realized there weren’t enough voices talking about the integration of a high-flying career and motherhood especially within the context of remote work and the unique landscape of Southeast Asia.

In a world full of AI-generated advice, I wanted to provide something human. Here, you’ll find honest reflections on:

  • Strategies for staying productive in remote roles.
  • Travel hacks for the frequent business traveler (especially in SEA).
  • The raw, unpolished reality of being a working mom in her 40s.

When I’m Not Working or Flying…

You can find me at home, in between the cuddles of my kids and spending time with my husband.
